Saxophone

2007 Acrylic on canvas 24 x 18 inches
"I’ve always liked the way the light danced off brass instruments. This experimental work sought to capture the effect in a loose style. The jazz feel of the saxophone blends with the floating music in this unique, freely rendered artwork where I let the improvisational nature of jazz guide me. The finished painting gives the viewer a feel of both music and movement". This original acrylic painting is on a quality canvas. The sides are not painted and it needs to be hung with a frame. Each Michael Arnold acrylic painting is an original one of a kind, signed piece of art and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The painting is delivered on a stretched canvas. Additional views of "Saxophone" may be viewed here. The "Saxophone" painting by award winning Citrus County Florida artist Michael Arnold makes a bold statement on any wall where it is displayed. "Saxophone" is also available as the front of note cards and the prints can be purchased here.

Very cool that your colorful and bold sax was chosen to accompany my fiddle, banjos and guitars batik art on the Thunder Road Restaurant mural collage!!! Pretty cool! Sue Duda
